Drake has said that he will push his album back 2 weeks to June 15th. He is now on tour which has been adequately name “Away From Home”. In an interview Drake said “There was this calm before the storm, and 'Over' represented the storm to me. It's the moment. I wanted to emerge at first from this album and just let people know 'This is how I'm coming out in the public eye. I'm ready for anything.' Then when you get the album, it's like, 'Oh, he's still human. He's still thinking the same way.' I wanted people to understand I could have lost it. 'Over' could have been my entire album. Just 'cause that's what this industry and game will do to you if you lose yourself." Well I just hope Drake don’t get the Detox syndrome.

Drake's "Thank Me Later" Due May 25th

It’s official. The most anticipated hip-hop album of the year finally has a release date. Drake’s debut Thank Me Later will release May 25th. The singer/rapper has been in the studio with a list of collaborators including Jay-Z, Kanye West, The-Dream, Sean Garrett, and Boi-1da, who produced the first single “Over”. Originally scheduled for a first quarter release, took a little while longer than expected as Drake says he is a perfectionist.

Drake - Fall For Your type

Heartbreak Drake does it again with this one, though its just a reference track it leaves you wanting to hear more at least it did for me. The beat is crazy for this one. I seriously hope that this makes the album. So far the songs I have heard coming from Drake & his camp are pure crack I really hope dude is able to keep this up, with music like this I can't at all be disappointed.

I was just thinking the other day how its kinda odd that no Drake tracks had be leaked or released in a few days, not even an old verse on a new beat as folks have become so well at doing and then this comes. This is the first single of “Thank Me later” produced by Boi-1da. In my opinion this is a track that Drake needed to help his fading buzz from the people that don’t follow him like that.
